The Workday HRIS Tier 2 Analyst is in charge of maintaining the system, implementing (process) improvements, ensuring data quality, and analyzing and reporting on the data in the HRIS. The HRIS analyst is also often the go-to subject matter expert for the system used in the organization. We are looking for candidates with Integration and Business Process Expertise, alongside Security Knowledge.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the internal expert of our Workday ERP system, with specific competency in one specific area of expertise. 
  • Hands-on with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, REST APIs, or Cloud Connect).
  • Ability to design, build, test, and troubleshoot integrations with third-party systems (payroll, benefits, recruiting platforms, time tracking, etc.).
  • Familiarity with integration lifecycle management (design > testing > deployment > maintenance).
  • Manage (maintain and update) the configurations for this enterprise-wide system.
  • Assist in the implementation of additional Workday modules, if required
  • Improve system processes by exploring system configuration options.
  • Maintain system audits of the Workday production environment.
  • Support Change Management policies and procedures to ensure that changes to the systems are introduced in a controlled manner.
  • Perform Level 2 support on the application by working with HR functional owners and potentially vendors.
  • Provide backup support for HRIS Manager
  • Ensure Workday related processes meet business requirements and deadlines.
  • Strong background in Workday business process configuration (hire, onboarding, termination, performance, time tracking, recruiting, etc.).
  • Ability to optimize and troubleshoot workflows, identifying where handoffs or approvals can break down.
  • Experience translating HR/Finance operational needs into streamlined Workday processes.
  • Support Workday security, users and permissions, security groups, rights management, if required
  • Deep understanding of Workday security groups, domains, roles, and user-based security policies (UBSPs).
  • Hands-on experience in configuring and auditing security models to ensure compliance and proper access.
  • Comfort working with both functional and technical teams to balance security with usability.
  • Schedule maintenance execution and communication with users.
  • Coordinate system software updates including planning/scheduling and testing with other HRIS analysts and business subject matter experts (SME’s).
  • Work with SME’s to leverage workday to support overall business goals and objectives
  • Champion company core values and other company programs
  • Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

Education

  • Workday and/or other HRIS formal training is required

  • College Diploma or University Degree, or equivalent in the Human Resources or Information Technology field, would be an asset

Experience

  • 1+ years’ experience working with Workday Level 2 or other HRIS system, is required

  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably in the areas of recruitment, learning, human resources and/or finance, would be an asset

Certificates, Licenses, & Registration

  • Business Analyst certification preferred but not required.

  • Project Management certification, preferred but not required
