We retain the right to use anonymized, de-identified data for:

No Personal Information is shared with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

III. CATEGORIES OF DATA COLLECTED AND RETAINED

In the course of delivering the InterviewPal service, we may collect, process, and retain the following categories of data, subject to applicable legal bases and user agreements:

  • User-Generated Content:Data submitted voluntarily by the user including, but not limited to, responses to interview prompts, narrative input, structured or unstructured feedback entries, and interactive dialogue artifacts (textual, audio, or audiovisual), including derivative or follow-up responses generated within the platform.
  • Professional Document Artifacts:Materials uploaded or generated for the purpose of career preparation or application readiness, such as resumes, curriculum vitae, cover letters, job descriptions, or application summaries, whether manually submitted or created via platform tools, including system-generated drafts, edit histories, embedded metadata, and linguistic transformation logs.
  • Analytical and Assessment Data:Internally or externally generated annotations, model-derived evaluation metrics, scoring attributes (e.g., content quality, clarity, confidence, structural adherence), system-generated benchmarking data, and improvement tracking logs associated with user-submitted or generated content.
  • Behavioral and Interaction Data:Metadata and telemetry arising from user interaction with the platform’s functionality, including time-stamped feature usage, engagement frequency, navigation pathways, bookmarking or favoriting activity, and cumulative progression metrics within training modules or interactive sessions.
  • Contextual Role and Scenario Metadata:Declared or inferred attributes pertaining to user objectives or simulated hiring contexts, including job function, industry, career level, preferred interview format, regional settings, and language preference, captured for the purposes of content delivery, model contextualization, and analytic segmentation.
  • Speech-Derived Signal Data (Where Applicable):For voice-enabled experiences, derivative data may include automatically generated speech transcriptions, latency measures, filler-word detection, temporal speech pacing, acoustic markers, or sentiment estimations, none of which are linked to identity and are used solely for platform enhancement and model refinement.
  • Technical and Usage Diagnostics:Standard device and environment data such as IP address, browser or device identifiers, locale, session duration, clickstream events, and system performance logs, collected to support platform stability, usage analytics, and system administration.

All data collection, storage, and retention is conducted in accordance with applicable law and may be subject to pseudonymization, aggregation, or anonymization techniques prior to its use for analytics, research, or model development. Personal identifiers, when not essential for account continuity, are excluded from any downstream processing intended for research or third-party integration.

IV. DATA SHARING & THIRD PARTIES

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share data with:

  • Hosting & analytics providers (e.g. cloud storage, usage tracking)
  • NLP/AI vendors for transcription, scoring, or model inference
  • Research collaborators (academic labs, AI model developers) under strict anonymization

In all such cases, data is de-identified and cannot be traced back to individuals.

We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party sites linked from our platform.
