About the Role

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Welcome and greet guests.  
  • Make our guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to care for them. 
  • Answer questions about our food, beverages, and other restaurant services. 
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter orders into the point-of-sale system.
  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests promptly.
  • Prepare the final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change.
  • Perform side work as management requires at the start and end of each shift.
  • Monitor guests' dining experience to ensure they are satisfied with the food and service.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to requests and communicate guest feedback to managers.
  • Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers. 
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Obtain a strong working knowledge of the menu by completing server training.
  • Must work 1-2 Food Runner shifts per week.
  • Attend all scheduled team member meetings.
     

Requirements

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Previous restaurant experience is optional but preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers and other team members.
  • Ability to add and subtract two and three-digit numbers and perform these operations using units of American money.
  • Ability to operate a computer point-of-sale system.
  • Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
  • Food Handler Certification is required
  • TABC Certification is required.
