Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining tools and infrastructure that enable efficient and secure development and deployment processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain tools and infrastructure that enforce platform standards, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained across the organization
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful implementation
• Architect and build scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions that support the company's R&D and DevOps teams
• Ensure adherence to security and governance policies to protect company data and systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and optimize performance
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in Infrastructure/Platform Engineering and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and improve processes

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps, Platform or Infrastructure Engineer 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Self-driven with excellent sense of ownership and accountability
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Experience architecting and implementing tools and infrastructure to enforce standards, security, and governance
• A passion for technology, learning, and finding optimal solutions
• Extensive knowledge of AWS/GCP and Kubernetes
• Experience with programming and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
• Significant experience with IaaC (Terraform/Cloudformation/Pulumi)
• Experience with CI/CD methodologies and best practices (Jenkins/GitHub Actions)
• Experience with database management (Redis, MySQL, MongoDB Atlas)
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus/New Relic)
