Sr. Business Analyst

<p style=" line-height:normal;"><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p style=" line-height:normal;">We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with over 15 years of experience in the Financial Services (FS) and Banking domain and a minimum of &nbsp;8+ years of expertise in business analysis for mobile and web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional communication skills, and extensive experience with Agile methodologies, along with in-depth knowledge of Cashflow Forecasting, Request To Pay (RTP), MoneyHub, Open Banking, ERP systems, and Card Payments.</p><p style=" line-height:normal;"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li style=" line-height:normal;"><strong>Requirements Gathering &amp; Analysis:</strong><ul type="circle"><li style="line-height:normal;">Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business, functional, and technical requirements.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Write clear and comprehensive user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, and technical stories.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Translate business needs into high-quality documentation.</li></ul></li><li style=" line-height:normal;"><strong>Industry-Specific Expertise:</strong><ul type="circle"><li style="line-height:normal;">Leverage deep understanding of <strong>Cashflow Forecasting</strong>, <strong>Request To Pay (RTP)</strong>, <strong>MoneyHub</strong>, <strong>Open Banking</strong>, and <strong>ERP systems</strong> (including customer, invoice, RTP, supplier payments, payments, and reconciliation).</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Demonstrate a strong understanding of <strong>Card Payments</strong> and their integration into broader financial ecosystems.</li></ul></li><li style=" line-height:normal;"><strong>Technical Expertise:</strong><ul type="circle"><li style="line-height:normal;">Possess a deep understanding of APIs and microservices architectures.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Work closely with development teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business requirements.</li></ul></li><li style=" line-height:normal;"><strong>Wireframes &amp; Diagrams:</strong><ul type="circle"><li style="line-height:normal;">Create detailed wireframes, UML diagrams, sequence diagrams, user journeys, and personas using tools like Lucidchart, Draw.io, and Visio.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Lead design sessions and create functional designs and wireframes that meet business and user requirements.</li></ul></li><li style=" line-height:normal;"><strong>Agile Methodologies &amp; Tools:</strong><ul type="circle"><li style="line-height:normal;">Conduct sprint planning, backlog refinement sessions, and sprint reviews.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Participate in daily stand-ups and support the Agile framework.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Maintain and manage tasks in JIRA, ensuring all stories and bugs are tracked and updated.</li></ul></li><li style=" line-height:normal;"><strong>Independence &amp; Leadership:</strong><ul type="circle"><li style="line-height:normal;">Act as a key leader and subject matter expert in the team, with the ability to work independently without any support.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Provide guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts as required.</li><li style="line-height:normal;">Lead meetings, refinement sessions, and other key Agile ceremonies.</li></ul></li></ul><p style="margin-bottom:0cm;line-height:normal;"><br></p><p style=" line-height:normal;"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li style=" line-height:normal;">8+ years of experience in the Financial Services and Banking industry.</li><li style=" line-height:normal;">8+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst with a focus on mobile and web applications.</li><li style=" line-height:normal;">Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, and system integration.</li><li style=" line-height:normal;">Expertise in <strong>Cashflow Forecasting</strong>, <strong>Request To Pay (RTP)</strong>, <strong>MoneyHub</strong>, <strong>Open Banking</strong>, and <strong>ERP systems</strong> (Customer, Invoice, RTP, Supplier Payments, Payments, and Reconciliation).</li><li style=" line-height:normal;">Understanding of <strong>Card Payments</strong> processes and systems.</li><li style=" line-height:normal;">Expertise in using diagramming tools such as Lucidchart, Draw.io, and Visio.</li><li style=" line-height:normal;">Proficient in creating wireframes, UML diagrams, sequence diagrams, and user journey flows.</li><li style=" line-height:normal;">Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).</li><li style=" line-height:normal;">Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.</li><li style=" line-height:normal;">Ability to create personas, write detailed functional/non-functional user stories, technical stories, and log bugs.</li><li style=" line-height:normal;">Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks with minimal oversight.</li></ul><p style="margin-bottom:0cm;line-height:normal;"><br></p><p style=" line-height:normal;"><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li style=" line-height:normal;">Experience leading sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies.</li><li style=" line-height:normal;">Familiarity with various project management methodologies.</li><li style=" line-height:normal;">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li style=" line-height:normal;">Ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.</li></ul><div><br></div>
