About Draftt
Draftt provides full visibility into infrastructure, runtimes, and code, helping teams proactively identify end-of-life risks and breaking changes before they impact production.
About the Role
Draftt is looking for a Backend Engineer who’s excited to roll up their sleeves, move fast, and build systems that matter. This role is ideal for someone who wants to have a big impact, take ownership of core services, and contribute across a wide range of challenges.
You’ll help us build the backend foundation for new products and features, working on everything from service architecture to infrastructure and performance optimization. You won’t just write code—you’ll shape how we scale and how we work.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop features that are reliable, scalable, and secure.
- Own the entire development lifecycle, from concept through deployment and monitoring.
- Tackle a broad scope of challenges, from systems design to performance tuning and production support.
- Work cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and product managers to bring ideas to life.
- Contribute to architectural decisions that lay the groundwork for long-term scale and speed.
Who You Are
- You have 6+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer
- You’ve built and maintained cloud-native applications using platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- You’re comfortable working in a microservices-based architecture.
- You have experience with scalable systems, distributed architectures, and managing real production workloads.
- You enjoy taking end-to-end ownership, and you're not afraid to take on new areas or figure things out as you go.
- You're excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities shift and decisions are made quickly.
Nice to Have
- Experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
- DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring
- Experience with TypeScript and Node.js
- Prior startup or early-stage company experience
Why Join Draftt
We're building a company for builders—people who want to move fast, own their work, and create real impact. You’ll join a tight-knit team that values curiosity, autonomy, and collaboration. We believe in empowering individuals to take initiative and shape the company alongside the product.
Even if you don’t check every box, we encourage you to apply. We're committed to building a diverse and inclusive team, and we care more about your ability to learn and adapt than your resume keywords.
