</div><div>The primary responsibility of the Head Bartender is to provide an excellent guest drinking experience and ensure the smooth operations of the assigned venues in line with Explora Journeys policies/procedures, as well as working closely with the Beverage Manager on overseeing the operations for all bars/lounges and crew bar areas in order to achieve the best level of guest satisfaction, revenue and cost control.</div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H3 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>Your Impact</b></H3>
</div><div><p>Assists the Beverage Manager, ensuring compliance with quality service and product, public health standards in all bars, lounges, and Host bars.</p><p>• Supervises the daily beverage operations in all Guest and Host Bars as assigned by the Beverage Manager.</p><p>• Supports the Beverage Manager to generate maximum guest satisfaction, generate upselling opportunities and maintains costs.</p><p>•Attends Guests needs by providing a courteous, friendly, quick, and professional service always.</p><p>• Manages the daily performance of the bar staff in their assigned workplaces.</p><p>• Ensures all bars are fully always stocked to par level.</p><p>• Ensures Guests receive premium service/experience in all venues.</p><p>•Trains team members and supervises the working operations in the assigned bar area.</p><p>• Supports the Beverage Manager in their cost control responsibility through close monitoring of the inventory, spoilage, and recipe adherence.</p><p>• Conducts daily self-inspection checks to ensure all bars, bar pantries, machinery and storerooms meet all Public Health guidelines.</p><p>• Supervise and monitor the correct application of food safety procedures and food quality requirements related to all processes.</p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H3 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>Your Journey So Far</b></H3>
</div><div><p>• Previous experience in a similar position in an International Cruise Company, or in a busy 5-star hotel/resort with an international bar list.</p><p>• Basic knowledge on food safety.</p><p>• Possesses job and product knowledge, including knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine lists and bar setups.</p><p>• Possesses full knowledge of Bar menus, garnishes, and presentations</p><p>• Is aware of all events and activities on the ship and able to communicate to the guests.</p><p>• Ensures compliance with the company alcohol policy.</p><p>• Communicates effectively with the senior management.</p><p>• Possesses ability to lead and make decisions. Experienced in coaching.</p><p>• Must be cost and quality conscious.</p><p>• Computer literacy, knowledge of Fidelio/Otalio, POS and Crunchtime is an advantage</p><p>• Fluent in written and spoken English. </div><div><p>• Passport, visas, certificates as specified by the company and as required for exit from the port of origin and entry into the destination cruising area.</p><p>• Food Safety/HACCP or USPH certification.</p></div></div></div>
