About the Role

Description

The SUE Analyst supports the delivery of Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services by conducting detailed field data collection, analysis, and documentation. This role requires foundational experience with Electromagnetic (EM) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) equipment and a strong ability to interpret subsurface utility information. The individual in this position contributes to accurate utility mapping, ensures adherence to established safety protocols, and collaborates closely with field crews and project teams. The SUE Analyst demonstrates sound judgment, technical diligence, and a commitment to maintaining a high-quality, solutions-oriented work environment.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead SUE crew to perform Sub-Surface Utility Engineering services for both internal and external clients 
  • Communicate with project team members, client representatives, review agencies, and others as appropriate to the project. 
  • Responsible for operating equipment, ensuring crew members follow the proper protocols while operating equipment, and maintaining a safe work environment 
  • Maintain the overall quality of work with accuracy and thoroughness to meet regulatory requirements of the Company and Client 
  • Accurately and efficiently collecting field data and locating features 
  • Manage time effectively, organize, and work on multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet project deadlines and client needs

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and inspire your crew in delivering Subsurface Utility Engineering services for clients who rely on our expertise.
  • Use your knowledge of EM and GPR equipment to uncover what lies beneath the surface with accuracy and confidence.
  • Champion safety in every decision, ensuring your crew works with care and professionalism.
  • Foster collaboration and respect, creating a team environment where everyone feels supported and valued.
  • Balance precision and efficiency while meeting project deadlines that matter to our clients and the communities they serve.

  • A skilled professional with 3–5 years of hands-on SUE experience and at least 1 year leading a crew.
  • Someone who thrives outdoors, whether under the summer sun or in brisk winter weather, with the stamina and grit to see projects through.
