$17.65/hour
Available Schedules (Part-Time):
- Friday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM

The Kennedy Collective is seeking a dependable Janitorial Worker to support federal facilities in Newport, RI. This role provides essential cleaning and sanitation services that help maintain safe, professional, and well-maintained work environments.

What You’ll Do
- Clean and maintain assigned interior spaces including restrooms, offices, common areas, stairwells, and break areas
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, recycling, and surface cleaning
- Operate cleaning equipment and use approved cleaning products safely
- Replenish supplies as needed
- Perform exterior maintenance as assigned, including walkways and entrances
- Complete work according to federal contract specifications
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with good judgment and reliability
- Willingness to work the assigned schedule consistently
- Ability to pass required federal and state background checks
- Ability to obtain Department of Defense clearance if required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and walk for extended periods
