The Assistant Manager (Global Learning) reports to the Head (Global Learning),and is responsible for supporting Global Learning’s portfolio of key programmes and new initiatives to achieve the strategic and operational goals of the SUSS Core.

What You Will Be Doing

SUSS Summer Programme

  • Lead the development, market research and scanning; and launch of new summer programme offerings under Experiential Learning.
  • Oversee programme operations, ensuring efficient and effective programme execution.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a successful end-to-end programme delivery.
  • Connect clients and internal stakeholders by serving as the key administrative and logistical point of contact with faculty/trainers, and clients/participants.
  • Support the management of programme finances, budgeting and revenue models ensuring financial sustainability and efficient resource allocation.
  • Set up processes and systems to optimise efficiency and enhance the stakeholder experience.
  • Undertake responsibility for vendor management, including assessment of services, pricing negotiation and preparation of service contracts.
  • Develop and execute programme evaluation processes to track participants& feedback and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Student Mobility Programmes

  • Develop and manage administration and operations ensuring seamless delivery of key student mobility programmes with partner institutions focusing on summer/winter schools and short-term immersion.
  • Liaise with representatives of partner institutions to support the effective delivery of student mobility programmes.
  • Manage periodical review of Standard Operating Processes for student mobility programmes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Global Learning to external stakeholders and at regional/international conferences to promote the Global Learning& initiatives.
  • Support Global Learning marketing efforts and events.
  • Ensure compliance with and implementation of university crisis management protocols for student travels
  • Keep updated with and identify global trends to inform decision-making pertaining to student mobility.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Collect, organize, and analyse data to generate insightful reports to inform decision-making
  • Prepare regular reports on programme performance, KPIs and operational metrics for audits, stakeholder updates, and reporting requirements.

Others

  • Support department events and activities, as well as university-wide projects and activities.

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder with at least 5 years’ relevant experience preferably in the education sector.
  • Familiarity with international higher education landscape and summer school/inbound programme management is an advantage.
  • Results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent project management, budgetary and organisational skills.
  • Highly numerate, analytical and meticulous with strong administration skills.
  • Familiarity with data tools, analytics platforms, or AI tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel automation) will be advantageous.
  • Flexibility for international travel.
