Program Manager R&D Projects

DRS RADA is looking for a Program Manager to join our team.

The program manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing product development projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.

As part of this role, the program manager will be responsible for the following activities:

• Leading the project multidisciplinary—working closely with System Engineers, Quality, Production, and Delivery teams
• Project management including schedule preparation and monitoring, budget management, risk management, and bottleneck monitoring
• Coordinating all activities related to:
• Prototypes production
• Testing and integration (lab & field tests)
• Release to production
• First production batch
• Handshake with the production line managers

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in an engineering field; MBA is an advantage
• At least 3 years of experience as an R&D engineer
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in project management roles, developing complex, multidisciplinary products aimed for mass production
• Proven experience in transitioning from development to production
• Comfortable making decisions under uncertainty and dynamic conditions
• Ability to lead in a matrix; comfortable working with multiple interfaces simultaneously
• Hands-on, can-do attitude
• Customer orientation and excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Thorough and methodical approach
• In-depth understanding of radars – advantage
• Experience with OEM products – advantage
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
