Join the team at Partner Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center, Richmond! We’re seeking a highly motivated RDMS or licensed or registered veterinary technician who is eager to join our team as a veterinary ultrasonographer. 


Position Summary 


As a veterinary ultrasonographer, you will collaborate with all departments within the ER and specialty hospital to perform complete diagnostic ultrasounds that can be submitted for review by a veterinary radiologist. You will work closely with the requesting services to ensure a good understanding of their goals. You will perform the studies requested, submit those studies to a radiologist for review, and help to communicate radiology reviews and/or study results to requesting DVMs in a timely manner. 

Requirements


  • Licensed or Registered Veterinary Technician with ultrasound experience or RDMS 
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Virginia.
  • For LVT candidates, a portion of clinical work will be as LVT in the Diagnostic Imaging Department
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics
  • Professional demeanor and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
  • Willingness and ability to train and develop others
