Reporting to the Supervisor Mobile Maintenance, you will play a vital role in ensuring maximum fleet availability and efficiency. Our Serviceperson team is structured into two specialised areas, allowing you to apply your skills where they’re needed most:

In Field Servicing - Excavators, Drills & Dozers

• Excavators: Hitachi (EX8000/ EX5600/ EX3600), Liebherr (9400/9600/9800)
• Drills: Atlas Copco (PV271)
• Dozers: Caterpillar (D10T, D10T2, D11, D11T)

Workshop Based - Hauling & Ancillary

• Haul Trucks: Hitachi (EH4000 & EH5000), CAT (777 & 793F)
• Loaders: CAT (994, 992, 854)
• Water Carts: CAT (785 & 777)
• Graders: CAT (24M, 18M & 16M)

Duties

• Perform fuelling, greasing, and fluid checks on heavy mobile equipment
• Assist with basic servicing, filter changes, and lubrication to maintain fleet reliability
• Conduct visual inspections to identify potential mechanical issues
• Work safely and efficiently within mine site maintenance protocols
• Operate service trucks and equipment to perform field servicing tasks

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a serviceperson role or mobile plant maintenance support
• Current Manual C Class Driver’s Licence – required
• HR Licence – desirable (or willingness to obtain)
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform servicing tasks
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Desirable licences: Forklift (LF), Elevated Work Platform (EWP), Crane, Dogging, and Basic Rigging
