Role purpose

The Group Risk Analyst is responsible for supporting the global risk management team in undertaking risk assessment and analysis activities on key risks and in support of IDP’s risk profile. The role also provides critical administrative and reporting support, including maintaining the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool, running routine and ad-hoc reports, following up on outstanding actions, liaising with stakeholders on tool changes, and assisting in data collection for annual insurance renewals.

Key accountabilities

  • Conduct risk assessments as directed, including collecting, analysing, and presenting risk data.
  • Assist in preparing and facilitating risk workshops and maintaining risk registers. 
  • Support quantitative modelling and risk scenario analysis. 
  • Supporting the Group Risk team on broader analysis of risks and data to support analysis and reporting
  • Support the Senior Manager – Group Risk in the management of KRI reporting 
  • Maintain and update the GRC tool to ensure accuracy and completeness of risk data.
  • Run scheduled and ad-hoc reports from the GRC tool to support global reporting requirements. 
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to manage changes and improvements in the GRC system. 

Required experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a risk, compliance, or related analytical/admin role.
  • Understanding of risk management frameworks and principles (ISO 31000:2018). 
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities. 
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel and experience with data analysis and reporting. 
  • Effective organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication skills, able to professionally engage with stakeholders across various levels. 
  • Experience with GRC tools (e.g., CAMMS, ServiceNow, RSA Archer).
