About the Role
<div>Talent 360 is hiring for one of our clients, a Financial Manager for Naqel Construction <strong>( Mauritania)</strong><br><br>Responsibilities:</div><div><br>Project Cost Control & Analysis in large-scale construction operations.<br><br><br>International Financial Compliance, including tax planning, currency management, and financial audits.<br><br><br>ERP Implementation & Optimization, preferably with experience in construction-oriented systems.<br><br><br>Team Development & Leadership, ensuring financial department efficiency across multicultural teams.<br><br><br>Strategic Partnership Support: Working closely with procurement, legal, and operations departments on major decisions.<br><br>Regional Finance Manager in a construction or engineering firm<br>Extensive experience in the construction industry, exceptional analytical and leadership skills, and a strong command of English</div><div><br>Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes.<br><br><br>Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.<br><br><br>Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital efficiently.<br><br><br>Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with international standards (IFRS).<br><br><br>Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure regulatory compliance in respective countries.<br><br><br>Supervise accounting, finance, and tax teams.<br><br><br>Provide financial advice and risk analysis to support decision-making at the executive level.<br><br><br>Liaise with banks, tax authorities, and external financial consultants.<br><br><br>Monitor project budgets and cost performance against forecasts.<br><br>Requirements:<br><br><br>Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies.<br>12+ years of progressive financial experience in the construction industry, including 5+ years in a managerial role.<br>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred).<br><br>Proven knowledge of international financial reporting standards.<br><br>Strong financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting skills.<br><br>Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.<br><br></div><div>Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.</div><div><br>Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.<br><br>Deep understanding of construction project financial cycles.<br><br>Excellent leadership and team management abilities.<br><br>High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.<br><br>Outstanding communication and presentation capabilities.<br><br>Proficiency in financial ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or construction-specific platforms).<br><br>Strong grasp of international accounting standards
