Director of Groups & Events

Perfectly situated at 19 Avenue Kléber, The Peninsula sits in the heart of Paris within walking distance of some of the world’s most famous monuments, museums and luxury shopping districts. The Peninsula houses 200 luxurious rooms, including 93 suites.  We are on the lookout for an experienced, revenue-driven, Director of Groups and Events to lead our Groups & Events strategy, from securing groups revenue growth to flawlessly delivering unforgettable experiences for our guests and inspiring a talented dream-team to achieve new heights.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise the Groups & Events strategy, driving sales growth and achieving revenue goals for group bookings and events.
• Focus on profitability and upselling, identifying new business opportunities and action plan to convert each business.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeaters.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure all events exceed client expectations in a seamless and respectful collaboration with cross functional teams.
• Lead and mentor the groups and events team.

General Requirements :

• Graduate of a business or hospitality school with proven track records in a sales-driven groups and events leadership role.
• Initiative-taking / results-oriented / commercial and financial mindset
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• A passion for delivering high-quality client experiences.
• Fluent in French and English
