Job Title: Full-Time Medical Biller


Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full-Time Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, specifically with experience in Athena and Centricity systems, as well as expertise in accounts receivable follow-up for private practice and internal medicine.


Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and process medical billing for various services provided in a private practice setting.

- Utilize Athena and Centricity software for accurate billing and coding.

- Conduct accounts receivable follow-up to ensure timely payment from insurance companies and patients.

- Review and resolve billing discrepancies and denials.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing regulations and compliance standards.

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation and coding.


Required Skills:

- Proven experience in medical billing, particularly with Athena and Centricity.

- Strong understanding of private practice and internal medicine accounts receivable processes.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare staff.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and billing software.


Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical billing and coding is preferred.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing or a related field.
