Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor

<p><strong>About the Role<br></strong></p> <p>The Supervisor reports to the F&amp;M Manager and leads a team of maintenance technicians in a single shift or across multiple shifts.&nbsp;</p> <p>The Supervisor, Facilities &amp; Maintenance is responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing maintenance operations within a Distribution Centre and to ensure that safety, sanitation, and reliability standards are achieved. This hands-on role will perform and oversee the technical tasks related to the engineering, installation, maintenance, and sanitation of production equipment, infrastructure, and facilities.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you will be doing:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Act as the primary point of contact for escalations and corrective actions for all facilities and maintenance topics within the fulfillment center</li> <li>Manage and complete all maintenance tickets and master preventative maintenance schedule to ensure all activities are up to date and are completed on time</li> <li>Manage vendors and lead a team of maintenance technicians to troubleshoot maintenance issues and repair or replace of assets as required</li> <li>Source and manage maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) spare parts, consumables, tools, and other related maintenance equipment needed to ensure assets are in good working order.</li> <li>Manage contractors and suppliers; define scope of work, oversee tasks, and ensure completion of deliverables&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage all facilities and maintenance costs to ensure accurate cost reporting and achieving the maintenance and consumable budget</li> <li>Support equipment and facilities upgrades required to improve safety, quality and productivity</li> <li>Responsible for maintenance and sanitation metrics, including but not limited to: equipment downtime, sanitation completion %, facilities cleanliness audit</li> <li>Work in compliance with OH&amp;S acts and regulations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Use personal protective and safety equipment and clothing as directed by the employer and report workplace hazards and dangers to the supervisor or employer.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong>At a minimum, you have:&nbsp;<br></strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of facilities management experience</li> <li>Electrical, mechanical, and maintenance-related certifications</li> <li>Knowledge of trades related to site facilities, repair and overhaul</li> <li>Knowledge of facilities maintenance processes, procedures, and systems</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you’ll get in return:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Competitive salary and health benefits</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">75% discount on HelloFresh or Chefs Plate weekly box subscription</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">High impact work to help feed thousands of families in Canada</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Opportunity to learn and grow</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work with a hard-working and supportive team</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It’s no surprise that as a food company, we use many ingredients that may be considered common allergens (i.e. peanuts, tree nuts, milk, etc.).
