Job Title: QA Engineer(Manual Testing)Job Location: RemoteExperience Required: 6+ YearsJob Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with 6+ years of experience in manual testing, with a strong focus on database testing. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be comfortable working independently in client-facing roles, and demonstrate hands-on expertise in SQL query validation. Proficiency in Excel is essential for managing and validating the data throughout the testing process. Key Responsibilities:Perform manual testing of web applications to ensure quality, functionality, and performance.Conduct thorough database testing, including SQL query validation, to verify data integrity and consistency.Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective testing solutions.Work independently as an Individual Contributor (IC), taking ownership of assigned tasks.Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to provide updates, report issues, and clarify requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications:Minimum 6 years of experience in manual testing of web applications.At least 5 years writing complex SQL queries for data validation.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and validation.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA).Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proven experience working independently as an Individual Contributor.Prior exposure to client-facing roles. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
