Position: Senior Manager, Roaming Development
Overview:
The Senior Manager, Roaming Development is responsible for supporting the company's roaming initiatives, focusing on the development and management of roaming partnerships, contract negotiations, and strategies to enhance roaming coverage globally. This role involves maintaining strong relationships with partners, overseeing specific roaming projects, and contributing to the execution of roaming strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Roaming Strategy Support:
Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive roaming strategies to enhance the company’s global roaming coverage and services.
Analyze market trends and competitive offerings to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in roaming services.
Contract Negotiation:
Support the negotiation of roaming contracts with mobile network operators (MNOs) and other partners to secure favourable terms and conditions.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements to maintain high-quality roaming services.
Partnership Management:
Maintain and nurture relationships with existing roaming partners to maximize collaboration and value creation.
Identify potential new partners to expand the company’s roaming footprint and facilitate introductions where appropriate.
Project Management:
Oversee specific roaming projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery.
Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Performance Monitoring:
Track and analyze roaming performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Prepare reports and presentations for management on roaming developments and strategic initiatives.
Market Intelligence:
Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the roaming landscape.
Conduct competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions and enhance the company's roaming offerings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, telecommunications, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
7+ years of experience in roaming development, partnership management, or business development within the telecommunications industry.
Proven experience in contract negotiation and management in the roaming space.
Strong understanding of roaming regulations, market dynamics, and emerging technologies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Experience managing projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to travel as required to meet business needs.
Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese; additional languages are a plus.
