About the Role

Parker McCay P.A., a premier NJ-regional firm with over 100 years of top-level legal representation, is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Attorney for its Mt. Laurel, NJ office. 


The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience handling a broad scope of litigation, construction, procurement, and related professional malpractice and labor dispute matters. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to broaden the scope of their litigation practice and eventually step into a leadership role. 


Job Responsibilities:

While prior Construction litigation experience is preferred, it is not required. Ideal candidates will have:

· 2+ years of litigation experience (Construction and public entity experience a plus)

· Managing the full life cycle of public and private construction projects from preconstruction through post construction litigation

· Preparing bid documentation, contract formation, capital improvements and related aspects of the Procurement process

· Litigating contract disputes, design defects, and delay claims


Salary range of $105K-$165K

Requirements

 · Excellent legal research and writing skills

· Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery

· Ability to take and defend depositions and appear in court

· Strong organizational and communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines

· NJ license required, PA and/or NY a plus
