About the Role

The Role

 

This position will be responsible to lead a team in managing the overall operations and M&E services of industrial assigned properties, enhancing the value of the properties through well maintained and efficiently run facilities through effective cost management.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Provide M&E advice to junior staff and assist in troubleshooting. 
  • Ensuring proper upkeep of engineering and building systems
  • Managing and overseeing the performance of service providers
  • Planning and controlling operating expenses and improvement works
  • Providing leadership and direction on all project operations and activities such as the design specification, schedule planning and budget control relating to building and M&E CAPEX works

Job Requirements

 

  • Degree / Diploma preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering, Building or Property related disciplines
  • At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experiences and knowledge of all phases of property management, as well as procurement of property management services.
  • Possess sound knowledge of M&E systems and building services (e.e. heating, ventilation, air conditioning, power supply, chiller, etc.)
  • Excellent team player with excellent planning, communication and good interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Equipped with strong leadership and project management skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ability to be ready 24/7 and to manage operations and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification as a Fire Safety Manager will be an added advantage.
