General Production

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a General Production to join our growing team.

General description of duties:

• Operating propane and/or electric forklift vehicles
• Perform start of shift preventative maintenance inspection
• Assist in inventory cycle counts as needed
• Material preparation and material handling
• Other general warehouse duties as needed
• Gathers the necessary materials to support the production floor
• Pull for production
• Move material from production staging to routes
• Stocking/replenishing/picking/pulling
• Detects and reports defective materials
• Labels finished products to match appropriate paperwork
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Retrieve raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products for proper assembly
• Other general warehouse duties as needed
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.

Experienced Preferred:

• Product knowledge including commercial and hollow metal door frames a plus
• Excellent work habits
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to operate a cherry picker forklift
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Expected pay for this role is between $23.74 to $25.58  per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
