About the Role
Overview

Come be a critical part of safety on the slopes!

 

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all resort guests, employees, and property. Through proactive patrols, incident response, and guest engagement, this position plays a vital role in promoting a positive and safe resort experience.

 

Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, the Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is a lot to do all year long.


Responsibilities

Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of resort property to monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violations.
  • Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Investigate and document accidents, incidents, injuries, thefts, property damage, and other security-related matters.
  • Provide courteous assistance to guests and employees, resolving problems and helping enforce resort policies.
  • Support deterrence of theft, ticket fraud, unauthorized access, and other violations.
  • Act as a liaison with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency responders when needed.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Must be able to make sound decisions quickly and effectively in high-stress or emergency situations.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to write accurate and professional reports.

Wage and Benefit Info:

The wage range for this positions is:  from $21.50 to $23.50/hr

This is a non-benefited role.

All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).

All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.

All Team Members may participate in our Ally Heath benefit. It gives fast and easy access to Telemedicine and Mental Health appointments. It covers all family members and there are no copays or deductibles. It is a $4 deduction each week.
