Get to Know Your Team: 

  • Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a wide range of advanced, technical, journeyman-level preventive maintenance and repairs for assigned facilities and/or departments including plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilating, and/or air conditioning services.
  • Required to perform licensed trades tasks, such as a light equipment operator, carpenter, painter, and/or locksmith.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Three(3) year of related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • NM journeyman license in either construction trades or some type of certificate of training in the trades field.
  • NM Driver’s License. In order to drive a Lovelace owned vehicle you must possess a valid NM driver’s license with no DUI/DWI within the last five years.

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Technical and/or Vocational training in a related field of study.
