Desktop Engineer

• Work alongside the Leads and Managers to help define technical processes.
• Create technical documentation to provide consistent guidelines. 
• Work to improve the overall end user experience regarding their technical needs, including hardware and software.
• Act as a technical escalation point to Desktop Technician roles.
• Technically oversee the technicians assigned to projects to ensure SLAs and deadlines are met.
• Provide subject matter expert (SME) guidance to the team as needed, in addition to regular trainings to ensure the team is kept up to date on relevant technical advancements or changes in the environment.
• Proactively uses good business judgment and communications to keep IS Management and business liaisons informed regarding status, risks, obstacles, and other related information.
• Expert in supporting Microsoft Windows operating system Expert in ticketing tools (ITSM), Citrix, MS Office, Active Directory, and VPN
• Expert in the support of printers, scanners, and copiers.
• Expert in the support of networking systems.
• Expert in hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in troubleshooting complex issues.
• Proficient in project management.
• Proficient in the use Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
• Proficient in the use of MDMs to monitor and administer mobile devices.
• Proficient in building and maintaining Windows Images (OSD).
• Experience supporting MacOS.
• Experience in PowerShell.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
