We provide a unified infrastructure for local payment collection, global settlement, and escrow services, underpinned by strong regulatory and risk frameworks.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></div><div><br></div><ul><li>Lead and manage the full lifecycle of the US licensing project—including pre-application strategy, documentation, regulator engagement, application submission, and regulatory follow-up through post-approval operationalization.</li><li>Coordinate teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational frameworks that meet MTL regime requirements and can be directly actioned post-approval.</li><li>Serve as Tazapay’s trusted US point of contact for regulatory and legislative developments, licensing audits, and entity-level compliance matters.</li><li>Advise leadership on regulatory changes and risks; recommend practical, compliant adaptations to company operations.</li><li>Manage project deliverables, timelines, reporting, and document retention in support of licensing and compliance.</li><li>Support regulatory inquiries, examinations, and ongoing relationship management with US state and federal authorities Key Responsibilities</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div><div><br></div><ul><li>Juris Doctor (JD) or legal background preferred; advanced degree or compliance certification advantageous.</li><li>8+ years of regulatory, legal, or program management experience in payments, fintech, or financial services.</li><li>Hands-on experience leading MTL license applications and operational rollout—ideally for multiple US states.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Personal Attributes:</strong></div><ul><li>Detail-oriented, documentation-focused, with strong regulatory risk awareness.</li><li>Trusted advisor with a proactive, structured, and hands-on approach.</li><li>Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills</li><li>Ability to work with remotely (during initial period) with cross functional teams across cultures and geographies.</li></ul>
