Job Description


Our production supervisor will oversee and coordinate the manufacturing process in our uniform production facility in Reading, PA. They will make sure production runs smoothly and efficiently and meets the established production targets. They will be responsible for all work in the shop and will manage the work schedule and any work in progress. The Production Supervisor will work directly with the Sewing Supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction, accurate customization, alterations, and customer deliveries.


This shift for this role is 10pm - 7am


Specific job duties may include:

  • Supervising the work of production workers and ensuring that they follow safety procedures.
  • Monitoring production processes to ensure they run efficiently and adjusting when necessary.
  • Ensuring that equipment and machinery are properly maintained and repaired when necessary.
  • Scheduling work for the 3rd Shift Employees
  • Manage the Quality Control process to ensure optimal performance for our customers.
  • Supervise the embroidery files being run on the equipment to ensure the proper logos are being used for production.


Requirements

To be successful as a production supervisor, you must have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and be detail-oriented. Also required are good communication skills to coordinate with other departments and effectively communicate within your team. Additionally, you should possess basic computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Additionally, a working knowledge of a Warehouse Management System and Shipping software is also required.

  • Screen Printing
  • Alterations
  • Customization


Hiring pre-requisites include:

  • You must be able to lift a maximum weight of 50 lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen (excludes THC) and background check.

Preferred Experience:

  • At least 1 year of the military, fire, or police experience in a volunteer or paid capacity
  • Candidates with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar position
