<p><strong>YOUR MISSION:</strong></p> <p>As a&nbsp;<strong>Forward Deployed Engineer, DevOps</strong>, your mission is to build and scale the dedicated infrastructure that powers our custom agent integrations for our most important customers. You will be the key technical cornerstone of our team, empowering our customer-facing Forward Deployed Engineers to build, deploy, and manage bespoke client solutions with speed and confidence. By creating a robust, automated, and self-service platform, you will directly enable the rapid delivery of high-quality, reliable custom services.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, build, and maintain the cloud infrastructure specifically for hosting custom services developed by the Agent Integration Engineering team.</li> <li>Create flexible and reusable CI/CD pipeline templates that the integration team can easily adopt to automate the deployment of their services.</li> <li>Champion Infrastructure as Code to create standardized, yet customizable, service environments, ensuring consistency and rapid provisioning for new integrations.</li> <li>Manage a Kubernetes-based environment tailored for hosting a multitude of diverse integration services, focusing on security, isolation, and resource management.</li> <li>Implement robust monitoring and observability solutions to provide the integration team with deep visibility into the performance and health of their specific services.</li> <li>Serve as the primary DevOps partner for the Forward Deployed Engineering team, understanding their workflow, anticipating their needs, and removing infrastructure-related obstacles.</li> <li>Develop automation scripts (Python, Go, Bash) to streamline the entire lifecycle of custom integration services, from creation to decommissioning.</li> <li>Support and modernize legacy Azure infrastructure, helping transition workloads to a standardized, Kubernetes-based platform aligned with Parloa’s Engineering practices.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a similar role.</li> <li><strong>A strong customer-first mindset</strong>, viewing the Forward Deployed Engineering team as your primary customer.</li> <li>Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language like <strong>Python, Go, or Bash</strong>.</li> <li>Hands-on expertise with a major cloud provider (<strong>AWS, GCP, or Azure</strong>).</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of containerization and orchestration, specifically <strong>Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker</strong>.</li> <li>Proven experience creating flexible CI pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI, and CD/GitOps workflows with tools like Argo CD.</li> <li>A strong background in Infrastructure as Code (<strong>Terraform</strong> is highly preferred).</li> <li>Experience building self-service tools and platforms that empower specific development teams.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>WHATS IN IT FOR YOU:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Join a diverse team of 40+ nationalities with flat hierarchies and a collaborative company culture, and enjoy an immersive onboarding experience in Berlin to dive into our product and culture.</li> <li>Opportunity to build and scale your career at the intersection of customer-facing roles and engineering in a dynamic startup on its journey to become an international leader in SaaS platforms for Conversational AI.</li> <li>A beautiful office with flair in the heart of NYC with all the conveniences, such as social area, snacks, and drinks.</li> <li>Competitive compensation and equity package.</li> <li>Flexible working hours, unlimited PTO, and travel opportunities.</li> <li>Access to a training and development budget for continuous professional growth.</li> <li>ClassPass membership, Nilo Health, Health insurance, weekly sponsored office lunches.</li> <li>Regular team events, game nights, and other social activities.</li> <li>Hybrid work environment - we believe in hiring the best talent, no matter where they are based.
