As a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a Substance Abuse Treatment Facility, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals on their journey to recovery from substance abuse. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing nursing care, medication management, and support to individuals undergoing substance abuse treatment.
Schedule:
Thursday through Saturday - 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Conduct health assessments and monitor the physical and mental well-being of clients.
- Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate clients on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Provide support and guidance to clients throughout the recovery process.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Valid RN or LPN license issued from State.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS)/ Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ First Aid (FA) certification.
- Previous experience in a substance abuse treatment facility is preferred.
- Knowledge of addiction medicine and treatment protocols.
- Strong clinical and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

- Exposure to clients infected with Hepatitis B, HIV, TB, or other Infectious Diseases.
