The Line Analyst assists the Line Management by providing support on yield management, environmental analysis, and service deliverables. They also analyze performance, manage improvement initiatives, and maintain databases and reporting tools.

Main Purpose of the Role:
The Main Purpose of the Role is to assist and support the Line Management (LM) providing support on yield management, environmental analysis, and control on service deliverables. The South America – North America Line Analyst will also assist with North America – ECSA and WCSA trade managers.
Main Tasks:
- Assist Line Manager in enhancing and promoting line policies in accordance with result of Data analysis.
- Analysis of country/line performance & management of improvements initiatives.
- Participate in the line meetings with trades and countries.
- Provide recurring market and competition analysis.
- Assist Line Manager in dealing with all relevant countries to establish goals and targets for services under portfolio and to promote business in these areas
- Works in conjunction with Sales, Countries and Trade to implement and measure business plan and line’s policy.
- Ongoing monitoring of performance and implementation of action between the line, the trade and the countries.
- Own and maintain Line’s databases and reporting tools.
- Design Tableau Dashboard and maintaining Trade Data Bases.
- Monitor actual performance vs. budget reports
- Monitor Line Financial results, Weekly forecasts, Country performances and supporting the Line Director in handling the P&L for each service product.
- Customers monthly analysis for countries
- Report the exceptions and major events to Line Director for immediate action
- Provide ideas for performance improvement with data analysis and prepare conclusions.
- Assist in analyzing line changes.
- Manage projects of the line and/or the LM Team according to the needs
- Provide analysis for new lines proposals
Requirements
An academic degree in Economics/ Industrial Engineering/ Business Administration or similar
High English language skills (Speaking, reading, and writing)
Microsoft Suite (It is required advance knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint)
It is required experience with Tableau (Or other analytics platform)
Two (2) years’ experience in shipping/logistics is preferred.
Speak/write a second language is preferred.
