About the Role

Description

Allpoints Surveying is seeking a field-based Rodman/Instrument Man or Party Chief, in Oklahoma City, OK, to be responsible for surveying and investigating land surfaces to project precise measurements. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and detail-oriented with solid problem-solving capabilities. Also, the ideal candidate will be competent and comfortable in serving as a single crew member.

Responsibilities

  1. Collect field data utilizing GPS and a variety of surveying instruments.
  2. Produce field notes and sketches depicting accurate field conditions.
  3. Utilize a variety of technology to ollaborate with other departments.
  4. Organize and prioritize tasks daily.
  5. Operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner and in compliance with all local laws and regulations.
  6. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. Valid Oklahoma State Driver’s License required. Company truck will be provided.
  2. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  3. Exposure to surveying instruments and processing survey data for 6 months required, preferably residential surveying.
  4. Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on varied terrain required.
  5. Ability to work in the field for extended periods of time required.
  6. Ability to work independently as a single crew member for 10-hour shifts (average 50 hours a week)
  7. Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  8. High degree of attention to detail required.
