As Alma’s global Web Expert, you will be the driving force behind the experience and performance of our global web ecosystem—including the main site, subsidiary sites, product mini-sites, and other sites. You’ll manage seamless, high-performing journeys that grow brand awareness, organic reach, and qualified demand, while enabling partners and regions. Sitting at the intersection of marketing, UX, conversion, and technology, you’ll translate creative concepts and business goals into secure, fast, accessible, localization-ready web experiences.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the WordPress multisite environment (global, subsidiaries, mini-sites) in partnership with vendors and IT.
- Set web experience standards (UX & SEO guidelines, accessibility, performance thresholds, design systems) and ensure consistent application across sites.
- Govern localization workflows with and ensure timely, high-quality rollouts across country sites.
- Own GA4 and GSC analytics; maintain standard dashboards showing traffic, engagement, conversions, and Core Web Vitals.
- Translate data into clear insights and actions; recommend experiments (A/B or controlled changes) to lift conversion and user satisfaction.
- Report progress against quarterly targets to marketing leadership and regional stakeholders.
- Lead day-to-day collaboration and SLAs with vendors (multisite dev, SEO, hosting, translations).
- Align with Content, Product Marketing, Regional Marketing, Compliance/Regulatory, Legal, and Sales/CRM to deliver web changes that meet market and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- BA/BS in a relevant field is an advantage (Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology) or equivalent work experience (must).
- 3-5 years leading large/complex WordPress multisite or enterprise web ecosystems with multilingual/localization.
- Demonstrated success improving UX, Core Web Vitals, and SEO while driving measurable outcomes (organic growth, conversion, partner engagement).
- Proven leadership of cross-functional and vendor-involved projects from concept to launch in a regulated or highly scrutinized industry (medical device a plus).
- Design & UX/UI sensibility: deep understanding of UX/UI principles and CRO is essential.
- Front-end proficiency: hands-on HTML/CSS/JS.
- CMS expertise: Advanced WordPress, Drupal multisite administration; governance for roles/permissions, staging, and content workflows.
- SEO & Data: Technical SEO (GSC, sitemaps, schema, redirects, CWV), GA4, dashboards, SEMrush, and A/B testing tools.
- Performance & Security: CDN/cache tuning (Cloudflare, Nitropack), WAF/SSL/TLS, DNS, backups, uptime monitors, incident playbooks.
- Content Ops: Briefing, editorial QA, claims/compliance tracking, WCAG conformance; webinar and video ops (Vimeo, Zoom).
- Data-driven, highly organized, and detail-oriented with excellent project management abilities.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working within cross-functional, international teams.
- Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage.
