Position Summary:


The Physician Liaison will be responsible for driving patient referral growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers and practices across the Greater Houston area. This role involves frequent field visits, attending networking events and health fairs, and supporting physician onboarding and integration efforts. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, customer-service oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with physicians, clinics, and healthcare organizations to increase referral volume within a designated Houston area territory.
  • Conduct 10+ clinic visits per day, promoting newly onboarded providers and service lines.
  • Attend and assist with health fairs, networking events, and community outreach initiatives to represent the organization.
  • Collaborate with physicians and management to execute field marketing plans.
  • Develop partnerships and sponsorships to expand physician patient panels.
  • Host lunch meetings or educational seminars with non-affiliated clinics.
  • Support physician onboarding and integration teams with logistics and coordination.
  • Plan and coordinate physician events, including scheduling, catering, and meeting arrangements.
  • Provide weekly activity reports detailing visits, calls, and engagement outcomes.
  • Travel to various clinic locations as needed (mileage reimbursement provided).
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Background in healthcare or outside sales preferred.
  • Self started, highly motivated and hunger to increase referrals for CLS Health providers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in outside sales, field marketing, or physician relations.
  • Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with professionalism and diplomacy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Houston area (mileage included).

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 0–2 years of experience in outside sales, healthcare or similar roles
