Position Title: Business System and Platform Development Support Officer

 

Job Summary:

The jobholder is responsible for implementing opportunities to expand credit card products and platforms to new areas of innovation. The role includes working with information technology group, third parties and different business units in METROBANK to develop new products, enhance existing value propositions, or improve customer experiences and processes to result in revenue growth or cost saves for the business.  Responsible in preparing the monthly accruals and submit to Finance on a timely manner. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Partner with information technology group, third parties and different business units in METROBANK to build and deploy process enhancement initiatives to improve customer product and acquisition experiences, or result in cost saves for the business.
  • Create an execution roadmap based on business priorities and customer needs, work with cross functional teams to translate the roadmap in to quality experiences and work with technology to implement with the right timelines. 
  • Adhere to the processes, timelines, and documentary requirements as set out in the business development policy throughout the course of project implementation.
  • Interface with Governance, Legal, Compliance, and Risk to ensure that implementations meet risk and contract needs to protect business and customer interests. The job holder will also be responsible in checking the Division’s policies and procedures to ensure that these are up to date. 
  • Develop, generate and analyze reports for implemented projects to review the performance.  Data security and integrity should be ensured.
  • Prepares the Division’s monthly accrual report to ensure accuracy and timeliness of submission to Finance.
  • Prepares the Division’s budget monitoring report on a per program basis.
  • Perform other duties & responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree from a college/university and preferably a graduate of a business course.
  • Has at least 5 years’ experience in financial services or related marketing fields (i.e. credit card, banking, FMCG, telecommunications industries).
  • Excellent project and process management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative problem solving and ideation skills.
  • Has strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in budget monitoring, accrual preparation and credit card platforms and systems tasks.
