Sourcing Analyst JOB

 Identify, evaluate, and select raw material sources/suppliers based on quality, reliability,
and cost-effectiveness.
 Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules.
 Develop and maintain strong, long-term supplier relationships and monitor performance.
 Conduct site visits for supplier evaluations and to understand operational needs.
 Cultivate relationships with public and private power plants to secure Fly ash and FGD
Gypsum.
 Collaborate with stakeholders on material mapping for new projects.
 Perform market research to map current and future material demand and supply.
 Analyse material availability and quality, forecast costs, and determine budget needs.
 Partner with the plant team to develop detailed sourcing plans based on production.
 Gather market intelligence for annual budget and cost projections.
 Prepare the monthly Latest Estimate for material prices, track deviations, inform
management of changes, and ensure uninterrupted supply.
 Continuously monitor market trends and adjust procurement approaches.
 Manage raw material transport logistics.
 Optimize inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
 Ensure compliance with transportation and environmental regulations.
 Collaborate with the plant quality control team to ensure materials meet standards.
 Maintain comprehensive documentation for traceability and audits.
 Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
 Track procurement costs and drive cost reduction initiatives.
 Prepare procurement reports and present data-driven insights.
 Support budgeting and cost analysis initiatives.
