Job Description
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing all maintenance activities for high-capacity pasta production lines, with a strong focus on FAVA Pasta lines. The role demands a technically proficient and hands-on leader who can ensure equipment reliability, maintain optimal OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and manage total cost of ownership (TCO) within international standards. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of pasta production machinery, utilities, and plant systems, combined with strong leadership, cost management, and ERP (SAP) proficiency.
Key Deliverables
Maintenance & Reliability
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for pasta lines, ensuring uptime and efficiency. Maintain FAVA lines, improve OEE, and handle shutdowns. Record activities in SAP ERP.
Utilities Management
Operate and maintain boilers, chillers, compressors, feeders, and packing machines. Monitor energy use and drive cost-saving measures.
Cost & Inventory
Control budgets, optimize spare inventory, and manage vendor contracts. Achieve TCO targets.
Team Leadership
Lead a skilled team, promote safety and learning, and align KPIs with plant goals.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure safety policy compliance, conduct audits, and implement preventive actions.
Continuous Improvement
Drive efficiency projects, apply TPM and 5S, and use data to close performance gaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in maintenance management within a high-capacity pasta manufacturing environment.
- Proven hands-on experience with FAVA Pasta lines is highly preferred.
- Strong technical understanding of OEE, TCO, and equipment optimization strategies.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP for maintenance management, spare parts tracking, and cost control.
- Solid knowledge of utility systems, including boilers, chillers, and compressed air systems.
- Excellent understanding of safety standards, risk management, and ISO 22000 compliance principles.

- Compliance with preventive maintenance schedules.
- Spare parts inventory accuracy and optimization.
- Safety performance metrics (incidents, near misses, corrective actions).
