The Bookkeeper will manage customer interactions related to payments and debts, ensuring accurate cashflow forecasts and handling special cases. They will also coordinate with various departments to resolve irregularities and prepare local credit committees.

We are looking for a Bookkeeper to our collection department that will handle the following:
Customers:
- Sending customer tickets
- Producing payment requirements for customers
- Collecting debts from customers
- Preparing income forecast cashflow
- Conducting receipt or credit allocations or adjustments for charges
- Contact with the customer regarding unpaid balances
- Handling irregular cases with the import and export departments, the marketing and sales people at Zim Israel.
- Making payments to customers with a credit balance and regular reporting
- Handling special customers
- Handling transit tickets for various customers
- Preparing local credit committees
Requirements
- Certified Bookkeeper- Type 3 or a bachelor's degree in Economics/ Business Administration, with proven experience in collections – mandatory
- Experience in the field of finance and accounting- an advantage
- Good knowledge of the shipping industry-an advantage
- Complete mastery of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Good level of spoken and written English
