Cardiac RDCS U/S Tech – Diagnostic Imaging – Full Time

Requirements

What to expect as a Cardiac RDCS U/S Tech:

  • Work in a teamwork environment.
  • Work a set schedule and be a part of rotating ultrasound call schedule. 
  • Be able to deliver personal, compassionate care and have excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of principle and practice of ultrasound procedures and techniques.
  • Acknowledge the various steps of ultrasound workflow process and provide detailed ultrasound imaging for the radiologist and cardiologist interpretation.

Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate/Equivalent.
  • Graduate from an approved ultrasound program with RDCS required.
  • ARDMS, Abdomen, OB/GYN, RVT desired, but not required. 
  • Ability to perform all cardiac ultrasound procedures for the on-staff Cardiologist to interpret. 
  • Ability to work with in the PACS software to create the cardiac ultrasound prelim report. 
  • Ability to work closely with the Cardiologist and CHM - Community Health Management staff performing cardiac stress tests. 
  • 1-2 years in a hospital or clinic setting.
