Experience
- One year experience in community needs assessment/development/health promotion
- Experience as RN (NP) in a Primary Health Care setting preferred.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Licenses
- Registered Nurse Practitioner (RN(NP))
Other Education and Training
- Registered/eligible for registration with the CRNS as an RN (NP) or RN (GNP)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
- Certification in recognized Primary Care NP equivalent program is acceptable
Knowledge and Abilities
- Demonstrates knowledge in community development/assessment.
- Knowledge of population health approach to health promotion/prevention
- Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period
