Your solutions will make developers’ lives (both inside DO and in the ‘wild’) easier by building new systems and improving the efficiency and performance of existing systems.If your passion is building products and systems customers rely on every day, DigitalOcean is the right place for you.</p> <h2><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Develop software for our Platform as a Service (PaaS) teams which includes Database as a Service (DBaaS) and Insights, Serverless, or Kubernetes.</li> <li>Engineer solutions to meet our customers’ business problems.</li> <li>Create scalable services that are performant and highly reliable.</li> <li>Take part in an on-call rotation.</li> <li>Operate our current solutions at scale.</li> <li>Maintain and operate our products.</li> <li>Technologies we use: Kubernetes, Go, gRPC, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, Ember/React, and others</li> </ul> <h2>What You'll Add to DigitalOcean:</h2> <ul> <li>Language: Demonstrated ability to develop, test, ship, maintain, and operate production-ready code and systems. You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance.
