Our all-natural premium cheddar cheese curds can be found in all 50 states and around the world. Our Wohlt Creamery, in New London, WI, joined the team in 2018. Specializing in high-quality and customized processed cheeses for food service, retail deli, and pre-packaged food manufacturers, at Wohlt, quality and innovation are woven into the culture. In early 2022, we opened our new production facility in Menomonie, WI. This new facility combines experience, tradition, and standards of quality with modern-day green technology for the lowest environmental impact to produce a variety of specialty block cheeses.

Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Department: Administration / Customer Service

Reports To: Finance Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly


General Description:   The Customer Service Coordinator is the first point of contact for the office, providing professional and friendly customer service both in person and over the phone. This role supports daily administrative operations, coordinates communication across departments, handles daily deposits and change orders, and assists with routine data entry tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Greet and assist visitors, vendors, and customers entering the office.
  • Monitor and distribute incoming “Contact Us” messages and inquiries to appropriate departments.
  • Handle daily store deposits and prepare/coordinate change orders with financial institutions.
  • Assist with data entry of operational information such as milk tickets and other routine reports.
  • Maintain office supplies and organization of front office area.
  • Provide general administrative support to office staff, finance, and other departments as needed.
  • Assist with filing, scanning, and document management.
  • Support internal communication and coordination between departments.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a dynamic office setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Comfortable working with numbers and performing basic financial tasks.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Self-motivated and dependable.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service, administrative, or office support role preferred.
  • Experience with data entry or working in a finance-related environment is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • May require occasional lifting of office supplies or files (up to 25 lbs).

Work Environment / Environment Condition:

  • Regular attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Professional, business-casual office setting, within a Dairy Plant.
  • Must adhere to all food and plant safety policies and regulations. 
  • Working hours will be determined, but generally will be M-F, 8am-4:30pm.
