Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Part-time cross trained Dental Assistant / Treatment Coordinator. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask
Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet and seat patients
- Handle heavy phone volume
- Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
- Schedule appointments for doctors & hygienists
- Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts
- Enter patient treatment plans
- Discuss treatment needs with patients & make financial arrangements
- Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance
- Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
- Take x-rays as needed
- Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient
- Take alginates/pour and trim models
- Package and sterilize instruments
- Keep operatory fully stocked
- Estimate, collect, & post patient payments
- Follow up on patients with unscheduled treatment needed
- General office duties (printing/faxing/computer data entry, etc.)

Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Dental reception experience
Excellent computer skills
Superior customer service skills
Willingness to learn & grow
A desire to become part of our family-oriented team & support our mission to deliver the best patient experience possible!
Ability to reliably commute to the office location in Fairfield, CT
Available to work during current office hours:
- Tuesday - 9am - 6pm
- Wednesday - 8am - 5pm
- Thursday - 9am - 6pm
- Saturday - 8am - 2pm, once a month
Preferred Qualities:
- Dental Office Experience
- Dentrix Ascend software experience
- X-Ray and ICE Certification
