Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) – Decatur Manor Healthcare, Decatur, IL - $18 Per Hour!  We are seeking CNAs to work Every Other Weekend - ALL Shifts available.  

Decatur Manor, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF), in Decatur, IL, has Immediate Openings for CNAs to join our team! This is a perfect position for a CNA who has experience working in the mental health field!   Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities of the CNA in a Mental Health Setting

• Collaborate with consumer and treatment team in facilitating therapeutic treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic care plans and activities in a compassionate and caring manner
• Recognize, note, and inform treatment team when a consumer is not at their baseline of symptoms and behaviors
• Assist medical treatment team as assigned
• Help check in all newly admitted consumers and readmissions
• Assist in the transfer of consumers to different rooms
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
• Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

We Will Consider Candidates Who Have the Following Qualifications:

• 21 years of age or older
• Certified or deemed eligible to work in Healthcare in the State of Illinois with no Waivers
• High School diploma and some college preferred
• Some medical or behavioral health experience preferred
• Basic Computer Skills
• Service mindset with compassion, tolerance, and understanding of adults with psychiatric disorders
