Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, the Assessor Coordinator Senior works with SHA Primary Care, RCMP, School divisions, First Nations, Metis Nation and other key stakeholders. As a part of the mental health and addictions team, the incumbent provides screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case coordination services to clients. Primary responsibilities relate to Program delivery, Case and File management, counseling, intervention, coordination and supervision. The incumbent provides program consultation, co-ordination, and evaluation of clinical interventions, supervision, and program consultation/public education. The incumbent is a resource, establishing positive relationships with community organizations and SHA programs. The position provides leadership to staff and works to develop a positive, safe and cohesive atmosphere in the workplace. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Bachelor of Psychology is acceptable
  • Bachelor of Chemical Dependency is acceptable
  • Bachelor of Social Work is acceptable

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Knowledge in applicable Acts

  • Registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body
