The internship
An opportunity has arisen for an internship at the Branding and Marketing department of ofi Cocoa in Amsterdam, Netherlands. For a period of minimum 5 months, you have the opportunity to be part of an energetic, positive and multifunctional team, where you will work and collaborate as a link between different teams and you will be responsible to deliver projects in partnership with the EMENA Brand Manager. This is planned as a classical internship but can also be developed into a bachelor thesis project if needed. Starting as soon as possible for a 6 months period.
Responsibilities
During your internship the main duties will include:
- Helping with the development of the customer engagement experience at trade fairs as well as related brand communication development
- Assisting on the development of relevant customer experiences, in collaboration with the Brand Manager, the Product Development and Innovation team.
- Engaging in the branding, marketing and communication strategy and deployment activities, assisting the Regional EMENA Brand Manager
The intern
A successful intern will possess the following:
- A currently enrolled student in a business school or focused, post-graduate programme with an interest in marketing, branding and communications, or part of a marketing masterclass. Preferably a person with some previous internship and/or work experience.
- Excellent English language communication skills and proficiency (both oral & written)
- Ability to effectively and efficiently utilise Outlook and full MS suite of programmes (Word, Excel, PPT, Teams)
- Someone who is responsible and accountable, a ‘go getter’ with a positive / energetic attitude, and someone who is curious, open minded, and ready to accept new challenges.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for delivering projects on deadline and to completion
- Interest in food/beverage sector, in digital / social media / blogging, in design and in sustainability. Must love cocoa and chocolate!
We offer
We offer an interesting internship at an international company as part of the marketing and communication team based in London and in the Netherlands. Reporting to the EMENA Brand Manager, you will have the opportunity to experience the everyday work life at a multinational company and learn about the food ingredients world. Our office is located in Amsterdam where you will be based together with the Brand Manager.
