Position Summary:

 

The Shipping Technician position is a very important component to the production of both our infrastructure and agricultural products.  The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. 

 

Essential functions:

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders. Must be able to adhere to Lindsay Corporation Safety Policies and Procedures while maintaining a safe working environment.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form
  • Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (metguard boots, protective eyewear, hard hats, gloves, ear plugs, etc)
  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Forklift and/or crane operators (preferred). Certification can be obtained through employment at Lindsay.
  • CDL a plus
  • 1 year of warehouse experience (preferred)
