About the Role

Description

We are looking for a friendly and communicative candidate to join our Team as a Site Receiver! Our Site Receiver is the first person to have contact with drivers entering our facilities and are heavily relied upon for quality assurance. Our Site Receiver is responsible for communicating truck and rail activity to field teams, staging drivers for loading, and completing cargo inspections.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure received and shipped cargo is accounted for through use of Bills of Lading.
  • Complete inbound and outbound inspections of cargo and report any damages.
  • Ensure all cargo information is captured to fulfill reporting expectations.
  • Complete geo-mapping of cargo and ensure labels are attached.
  • Use external digital reporting for accounting for cargo.
  • Ensure all daily reports are sent to appropriate parties.
  • Complete internal audits to ensure reporting matches on-hand inventory.
  • Help resolve issues and/or complaints for shipping and receiving.
  • Ensure all drivers have received Site Induction.
  • Assist with planning and allocating cargo for ease of shipping and receiving.


Requirements

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience working in shipping and receiving environment
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven organization and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly learn digital reporting software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking in potential extreme weather.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted at times.
  • Must be able to climb up and down truck/trailer, railcars, and ladders routinely.
  • Must be able to bend and crawl in tight areas.
  • Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment.
