Summary:

The Senior Sales Manager will detail all group business at the hotel. This role will be assigned additional market segments. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • This role will be assigned additional market segments. 
  • Work closely with revenue management and marketing functions to develop strategies to maximize REV/PAR and grow market share
  • Maintain and promote teamwork with effective and clear communication
  • Ensures hotel meets or exceeds budgeted goals
  • Follow and track company cross-sell procedures
  • Create a focus on attracting new business
  • Lead on-property sales functions to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of hotel sales objectives
  • Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating a proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence)

Requirements

 Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • 5+ years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
  • A warm, people-oriented demeanor
  • A team-first attitude
