Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Requirements: 

• Must be a licensed APRN, PMHNP certification 
• Must have 1 year of post-certification experience, outpatient preferred
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted license(s) to practice nursing pursuant to the laws of the State where healthcare services are provided
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License pursuant to the laws of the State where healthcare services are provided
• Possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”) number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances;
• Ability to possess and maintain adequate/required Professional Liability Insurance policy 
• Comply with prescription drug monitoring program regulations 
• Possess and maintain all accreditations, certifications, and credentials necessary and appropriate to enable a nurse practitioner to perform, and Practice to bill for, the APRN services 
• Remain a Medicare and Medicaid Provider in the State where healthcare services are provided
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as thorough knowledge about the various medical processes and procedures
• Ability to function well independently, as well as a member of a multidisciplinary team, ability to work productively and effectively.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Compensation:  

• $125,000-$175,000 estimated salary (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners at ARC Psychiatry are compensated through a competitive compensation split model, the salary above is an estimation based on average billable hours)

• Full-time (40 hours)
